We are a vibrant gathering of Jesus church located in the heart of Upper Hutt. We want to break down the misunderstandings and misconceptions of how good our God is and be disciples of Jesus who represent His true nature. God is good and we want you to experience His goodness!

We believe In Jesus!
We follow Jesus, by the working of the Holy Spirit, according to scripture, as our Father in heaven wills, we follow as apprentices, or disciples; learning from Him to trust our Father as he does.
We seek the 'one and only' Jesus Christ as the 'one thing' we do, and the one thing that is necessary.
We are not a church with a discipling program; but are disciples of Jesus, who gather as church; which is Jesus body being formed by the Holy Spirit as we each serve one another in the love and grace he gives us. As Jesus lived on mission serving our Father in heaven, so do we.
Testimony and mission are the natural overflow of our faith and rest in Jesus Christ.
An apprentice/disciple is on the way to becoming emotionally mature
WE are learning to live by faith in God. Being self-aware and to taking personal responsibility for our attitudes, actions, and thoughts.
An apprentice/disciple is becoming relationally mature
We are learning to love others. My relationship with Jesus is the work of the Spirit who produces his fruit in me. (Galatians 5:22-23).
An apprentice/disciple is becoming spiritually mature
We are learning to Love God in our obedience to Jesus commandment to 'love one another as he first loved us" As we pursue the love of Jesus everything else falls into order.
Foundational Beliefs.
God is always good
God is always good, His thoughts towards us are for good and not for evil, it’s the
goodness of God that leads us to repentance.
“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights,
who does not change like shifting shadows” James 1:17
Jesus paid the price in full
Jesus is the perfect sacrifice for our sin and redemption into holiness. We believe that salvation includes deliverance, healing,
and wholeness.
“But when this Priest had offered the one supreme sacrifice for sin for all time
he sat down on a throne at the right hand of God.” Hebrews 10:12
We are Spirit filled, led and empowered
We seek the indwelling and empowering presence of God through the baptism of the Holy Spirit. We believe every believer is empowered to live as Jesus lived in the flesh, to pray for the sick, believe for miracles, and see the realities of heaven become a reality here on earth.
Church is God’s plan A, there is no plan B
We believe that the Bible is God’s story of His covenant relationship with mankind. That His plan has always been for the redemption and restoration of all creation. We believe that 'church' partners with God in this co-mission of restoring all things. Church is God’s plan, there is no other hope for humanity.
Everything is according to Scripture.
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
